Bought a new Renegade receiver set a few weeks ago. stripped an AR for parts and finally got out to shoot this thing yesterday. I installed the charging handle on the right side of the bolt carrier and when I rack a round the charging handle gets wedged on the rear of the upper receiver. I've watched YouTube video's on the platform before I bought one and see everyone Racking the bolt to the rear without having this problem. Any ideas on what I might have done wrong? I followed the instructions that came with the set and can't figure this out.

1. Does it get stuck without a mag in the rifle?
2. Does it function fine with he charging handle on the left side?
3. Also how about spinning the charging handle 180° on the right side (so that the rear is towards the front and front to rear) see if this fixes the issue.

Watch your bolt travel, if the bolt stays inline, and is not being pushed up but your mag or follower during travel, it may just be that the machining on the upper was lackluster, or it was coated rather heavily and needs some sanding or massaging to get by.

Ya not to sure I will have to email or call RDSC and see what they say. It just seems weird that you can't rack the bolt all the way open without the charging handle getting wedged on the very rear of the receiver. It literally gets stuck where the machining profile gets thick right at the back. It's actually put some small nicks in the aluminum. Thanks for all that replied here

Sounds like you got a Gen1 handle for a Gen2 receiver. The two receivers are not the same and neither are the corresponding charge handles.

You were 100% correct. I emailed RDSC and got an immediate reply telling me they are going to get me a new charging handle. Thanks again
