Hello all, I have a MRA Renegade mk2 having issues with siezed dowels for the charging handle pretty much everytime I take down the rifle wondering has anyone found a replacement that will do the same but can be removed much easier or if someone has come up with a new charging handle set up similar to maybe a Taipan X with a handle on a bearing that is bolted to the receiver????
Thanks in advance

I had issues with mine too
I used a couple of Tamiya RC car axle hex pins cut down to the proper length
They are a smidge under sized in diameter so they are removed easily
The right sized drill bit shank should work too just have to cut it to length with a dremel tool

How often do you field strip the rifle and why? Mine does not get very dirty and can be cleaned without taking down pretty easily.

Only had the rifle for a little over a year, done it 4 times total last time was when I took it out of the safe in March I give everything a clean before I start to go shooting for the year. I striped it this time to swap from a 223 barrel to 300blk barrel. In the past I've stripped it down if I've ran a lot of rounds through it.

Never a prob for mine, either. Maybe 'user issue' ? Had mine in and out many times.
Been like this since I won it a little over a year ago, was a pain at the very beginning when I took it out of the box and went to swap the handle to the left side for me

I had this issue with mine, think it is caused by worn out drills used on the bolt carrier combined with pin length. Mine would stick bad when forced into the last .05 or so thou. Shortened the pins notably and the issue went away. I also purposely jammed them into the charging handle.
