MRX Bison 300BLK

Unfortunately the Bison is not a rifle I would ever consider. Accuracy reports in the field have been very poor, which should not be a surprise considering the manufacturer is advertising 1.5 MOA...... I bought a Ruger American Ranch .556 for $800 that shoots .33MOA. Drop that in an Indian creek chassis for an out the door price of $1350 vs the bison at $1150 give or take. The Indian Creek chassis converts the RAR from AR mags to ACIS pattern mags thus eliminating the capacity limit. The winner is clear
Can you share pics of this groups please of the Ruger? None of my friends can't even do that at 50 yards. Curious what everyone will do if they go after AR named magazines?

Depends on your needs i guess. The Ruger comes with a 16 inch barrel. For me, the only interst in the Bison is that i can get a 12.5 inch Barrel. Thats why so many ppl are complaining about it only been available in 16.5 in in 300blk.

Ppl have been asking for it since the beginning, sadly doesent seem to be available, aswell as the 7.62x39 one..

As a guy who rebarrels a minimum of at least one rifle a year its really not that hard or expensive to do a swap (even as a DIY). Just saying...

I wish someone would produce 12" Ruger American barrels in 300 blackout. I'd buy another Ranch to convert in a heartbeat.

BCL UPDATES
Both barrel lengths in 300blk will be shipping out at the end of next week.
The MRX Mag is currently in queue at the injection molding shop for mass production.
7.62x39 is in the works, waiting on supply chain issues with barrel blank supplier to resolve.

This is great news. Thank you for listening and acting on customer requests.

I don't have a team membership to post images but would gladly email it to you. Send me a PM with your email. It sounds to me like your friends need to learn how to shoot their rifles or start handloading. I have never come across a Ruger American that is not sub moa with factory loads. Even shooting bulk factory crap the RAR will usually land somewhere around .7MOA . My rifle absolutely loves Hornady 68 grain BTHP with 25 grains of win 748.

In regards to the mags, ACIS mags are not AR pattern. Even if they ban AR pattern mags, good luck enforcing it

well just going out on a limb here but I think accuracy should be on everyone's needs list. Aside from milsurp rifles, I would NEVER keep a rifle in my safe that wont shoot sub moa.
