In a few catalogues i see these mtm case guard scales. Tey are cheap around 40 usually. are these any good? i want something for measuring powder and bullets but i want to be able to weigh shot too and check the mec has anyone used one of these?
 
they are realy bad to trickle..... so for measuring powder it is not recomendable.

I got one from E-bay for 20$.... and I don't use it anymore for reloading.

powder qte. is a key factor for accuracy!!!!!
 
I find it O.K. to weigh cases for uniformity ... 0.5 gr. increments. Handy & accurate enough.

IMHO it is NOT accurate enough for weighing powder charges, bullets, etc.
