Already bought one

Well .. not the one that Phil mentions above, but a Mueller scope (8.5x25x44mm mildot AO). Nothing but good reports on the US rim fire forum (several of them are getting together on a group buy down there). Phil at Whitefalls is a great guy ... very knowledgable, good customer service. Mine should be here in the next few days. He is located in Winnipeg.

Mueller expects the scopes in the last week of May. I hope to have them in the first or second week of June.

Mueller are great scopes in every respect except (based on their eraticator series) their eye relief is very short. Ok for a 223, 204 etc. but I wouldn't use it on a 300 win mag.

I have heard several people say the same thing on many high quality scope (europeon scopes especially) I dont have a problem with the eye relief with my B&L 3x9 that i have on my 375H&H ( 3 inches of ER) , I think alot of folks expect 4" minimum to compensate for to low a rings ,poor stock fitup or just plain sloppy positioning of the rifle .
Eye relief is not an indicator of quality it is simply where the manufacturer wanted the focal point .

I have delt with phil in the past and bought a Mueller eraticator... I love the scope, and am thinking about getting another one for a gopher slayer in .223,
but now the price on this one is making me reconsider....
