In the first photo the little guy looks like his 'tv antenna' blew over! :)
Your right, his antler makes a 45 degree turn. I chuckled a few times at the little buck. He kept mimicking grandfather when they ate, looked-up, took a step, etc.

Went again scouting for mule deer bucks and found these guys. Not what I'm looking for however nice bucks anyway.

How may bucks in this photo?

Cant tell by the pic weather their all bucks or not. I can see three deer for sure, one buck left of fence, one right of fence closer to camera and a third (buck) at far right in the canola swath. Ther may be another deer in front of the buck on the left of the fence, looks like a white ass showing up between his ears.

Went out this evening again and managed to capture this bachelor herd filling their bellies on barley. The big buck on the right has a large frame but would not net that good in B&C, however would gross 185. Dosen't qualify for me but I will keep searching.

Went to a different area in the zone and found this old guy. Nice and wide with a 4 inch drop tine, but would only gross score 170 B&C.

Son of a gun! Last evening I found a herd of mule deer bucks with a 180 and 200 class typical within the herd. However, I can't seem to import my photos and I do have great photos of them. I will have to go and consult with a computer nerd or someone to fix the problem. Photo's from a distance the animal looks like and elk, holy crap!

Well after trouble shooting the computer et el, I finally found out that it was at least not user error. My memory card reader went FUBAR. Anyway, here are the bucks that I captured on film. If you like mule deer racks then I'm sure that this will tickle your funny bone. Not often a 200 class typical is sighted (has some junk on the back Y's) and I know that I really appreciate it. I will be setting my sights on this guy once the season opens on November 6th, however will have a contingency plan for another buck if this one does not work out.

No, that is not a bull elk but a mule deer buck. Captured him on film the other evening and you think that I slept that night..........not!

With the harvest in full swing deer are scattered hell bent for election. Managed to find these guys this evening as the sun was setting in the western sky.
