My son and i have been drawn for mule deer this year.I was out on opening day for rifle season and was lucky to take this buck my biggest mule deer.I was very excited.I seen some other nice bucks but was not able to get a shot.This is my sons first year to hunt so i am very excited about takeing him out.And after seeing what dad got Monday i dont know if he will get any sleep now.

beautiful buck- ive dreamed about finding one of them over here in bc one day..-maybe this year.. congrats on the beauty.

Yes you would think that but heres the story.after last years season was done i sold my Mark V 257-wby and ordered a left hand 257-wby to be made by H-S Precision thinking it would be here in time for this year.Well its been sitting at H-S sence about May along with alot of others they have gone threw the paper work twice and are getting the run around at least thats what i have been told not very happy about it but nothing i can do about it theres always next year.I picked up a tikka 300 win mag in the spring with plans on useing it for elk or moose but as it turns out its my deer gun this year
 
That's a great looking deer. It's bucks like that which make me prefer the look of a mule deer to a white tail hands down.
