Mule deer rut has started

Been out bird hunting past 2 weekends with you 2 sons and 9 your old granddaughter
We have seen mule deer bucks chasing the doe hard down here their necks are swollen up
Fanatic like o watch we have a lot of snow not much drifting
You need a 4x4 to get around lol granddaughter loves it .

Rut is a couple of weeks away here. No swollen necks yet.
Bucks are still together. D.

It's not on in Kamloops B.C. We got two whitetail bucks today a kilometer apart and neither were stinky, not around any does, and had skinny necks.....give it a couple weeks around here.

Was out scouting today, saw a few does but no bucks anywhere yet. Antelope everywhere though.

Rutting here too and yes its early. Last year they were very late over this way about the third week of november.

My does were within a couple of feet of me today and they are just starting to stink up here in Kelowna.

The rut starts the same time every year.

I took a 4 point this Sunday and he had just started to rut a little smelly, neck started to swell. He had his head down smelling when his luck ran out.
