This may have already been discussed, but maybe not. I know the optimum load for a particular cartridge will use the most efficient powder for that load. However, with ammo and reloading components getting scarce, I'm after something a bit more general that I can load anything with.
Right, we know there are general purpose powders that you can load pistol & rifle, sometimes shotgun with one powder. I'm under no illusion that these loads won't be tack drivers. Here's what I'm shooting. 9mm, 45 cal, 5.56, .308, 45/70, 12 & 16 ga. Tall order, I know. There likely isn't a single powder, but maybe two that'll work. I'm trying to keep it down to one or two powders as SHTF stock. Let's hear your thoughts.Tanks!
