Murray Charlton closing new warranty centre is Grech outdoors

Darn, I had a set of grips on order from Murray Charlton... I guess that's why they don't reply when I email to see if they've arrived. Oh well, I hadn't prepaid them or anything

No responses from an order request usually does not mean good things about service as well..

I'd call them if I were you. They have been pretty busy closing up the shop (and probably job hunting too!). If the grips are in and they cannot ship them to you, I might be able to pick them up and send them your way. They are only 2km away from my house.

If nobody answers the phone today it is probably due to the snow day!

Is MC closing or just closing the warranty department? When manufacturers cheap out and don't support their brands in Canada I can see it being frustrating for "appointed warranty centers".
Happens in bikes all the time.

I have been dealing with Wortner's for over 20 years and never had a problem. At the time I didn't know they were a Mossberg warranty center.

Wortners is a mossberg warranty center? And they are good to deal with?

If so, that's great news. I've got a problem with a Mossberg 500 trigger assembly and as I'm still waiting for Grech to send me a part from 2014, I have been hesitant to send my hsotgun to them.

Gahh- This Sucks! I had sent a Chiappa to MC for warranty- They were Awesome! Got it back with new parts pretty fast, I think only a few weeks or so. I have heard nothing but HORROR Stories about GRETCH from Personal sources- & have read threads here on how Bad they are- I hope they read this & Straighten their sh*t out- Sucks to have a Company like that, we are forced to use for certain things...

I've dealt with George, now deceased, and now deal with his son Peter.

I'm hoping I get my rifle back when winter is over. But I think I need a new barrel, so it will take time to get the part in but at least quick to install. Well should be quick anyways.

Just in case anyone is trying to contact Murray Charlton Enterprises, they should be back in today!

I stopped by yesterday to say hi and I found one of the employees shoveling snow in their parking lot. The strata complex that they are in really screwed their tenants over by not doing any snow removal. The whole place is surrounded by about a foot of heavy, wet snow. I watched as a couple of 4x4 trucks struggled to get in and out.

Murray is retiring after 50 years... I believe he tried to find someone to take over but no takers ... so every one there is retiring... he was the best Smith and Wesson man around.

I agree with that statement. Murray and his smiths were very good over the years I've dealt with them.

Any idea whats going to happen with his stock of parts or will that go back to S&W with his franchise????

TURF THE LIBERALS IN 2019

LIBERALS REALLY LIKE POOR PEOPLE, they're making more of them every day

If you can't vote CPC, stay at home in protest

I just recently had a good experience with Grech. The Mossberg 930 i bought didnt come the correct number of chokes.
I called Grech and the lady on the phone was very helpful and i got my chokes in less than a week.
The only negative thing i say is that they didn't seem to reply to e-mails, but when i called she said my e-mails ended up in their junk filter for some reason.

Murray has sold all of his parts inventory to a business in Australia and is moving there for a few years...

I have been dealing with Grech over a SW 66 that has a couple issues. Even with a rep from SW in the mix it's been three months with no ETA on completion. They cannot get parts across the border apparently. What ####ing good are they then????
