We are getting one hide apiece tanned, and 4 skulls done up as euros. Two hides went to one of the guides as a little extra tip, they will sell them at the CO-OP.

Somewhat off the subject, but you have to see an old Eskimo woman grab a hide and flesh it with an ulu. If I ever had any delusions about knowing anything about useing knives, I don't have them anymore.

The musk-ox will make a nice companion piece to your African buff. As for the Australian buff, you'll need a Yukon bison to offset it. Congrats on another dream hunt.

Can I count the bison as a north american buffalo, or combine it with the muskox to make a NA composite buffalo? Its the only way I can get the "buffalo on 4 continents thing" crossed off the bucket list.

Evil, just evil. I'm going to be playing catch up for the next 20 years to get near that Dog's game bag. Headed somewhere in fall and woods bison lined up for winter should help but I'm trailing heavily in the muskox and Australia quotients, as in can't be done without divorce. I just know I'll put up a pic of my bison and Dogleg will say, "Not bad, looks just a little lighter in the body than my 61" Asiatic Buff, see pic below what do you think?"

I probably wouldn't do that, if for no other reason than a good 61 SCI score waterbuffalo probably only has one horn. It would look funny.

Regarding the divorce avoidance, consider takeing your wife with you. The Australian outfitter quickly agreed to take my wife for nothing, when I said I wasn't going without her.An extra plane ticket isn't that bad.

She wanted to come back to Africa in the fall and would have done a brief Impala but we have a lil guy that'll be less than a year old still then, Australia we've actually already been talking about hence my snippy tone. She's looking forward to the trip, but it'll be a few. Look forward to hearing about yours, and I mean 61" spread not 61 SCI.
