Must haves mods for 10/22?

I recently bought my first 10/22 and I want to mod the hell out of it.
What are some good must have add ons for a 10/22? I just want to
turn it into a fun little plinker to take to the range every now and then.
Any thing helps cheers!

lol buy the bolt reciever and built you,re own 10/22 just finish watching a guy on youtube that built a 10/22 and the only thing he keep is the receiver lol what a waste of money hahahahahahaha

Bolt buffer, auto bolt release, extended mag release are all cheap and beneficial baseline mods.

One better...there was one on the EE this afternoon (may still be there) and the only Ruger part is the mags!

I love the 10/22 platform as stock or to mod.
Why do people think the firearm accessories business is huge? Especially now seeing how the economy isn't booming, consumers may want to build at their own pace. The 10/22 affords you that luxury.
Do the auto bolt release (lots of vids on youtube) and go from there.

The Dlask/Kidd oversized bolt handle, guide rod and spring set up is awesome... along with the auto bolt release and the Kidd bolt buffer: all sweet little, easy to do mods that help.

A new bx trigger or the route I went, power solutions trigger/ hammer kit from brownells. $60 very well spent. The stock 10/22 triggers are crap!

Had a few 10/22's, modded a couple, bought a Stainless Target, did the bolt release and buffer, sold the rest.
