lmao its not mine, its my fathers right now he said he thought he could own pistols in that caliber, just making sure from you guys

Tell him to get something made before 1945 so some day you can inherit it and get 12(7). Hopefully the laws are fixed long before then.

That's only an inheritance.

You will not be able to purchase any further 12(6).

As far as must own 12(6)... You need PPK

12(6) Must Haves...

Walther PPK or PP .32 ACP

S&W Model 37 Airweight +/or Model 36 Chiefs Special .38 Spl

S&W Model 19 4" Combat Magnum .357 Mag

Beretta Model 71 .22 lr

I hate you for having a 12-6!!! How do you get one? Grandfathered, right? Like unless you had it before '95? But does it have to literally be in the family, like literally your grandfather?

Get a 686 4"...###iest gun!
PPK
.25 Colt
That tiny Beretta...bobcat?
Glock 26

And a .410 Derringer!!

My grandfather gave my father the licence somehow.. and right now im just gonna buy him some nice pistols, i was looking on marstar and they have a pretty big 12(6) section. Gotta buy my grandfather a nice pistol too, he'll just use for a year and then give it to my father anyways.

Licenses can't be given.

If your father's PAL says 12(6) on the back, he must have had a 12(6) pistol in '95. There's no other way to get 12(6).

If your grandfather died, your father could inherit 12(6) pistols, but only if they were manufactured prior to 1946. When you inherit a suitable 12(6) it puts you in class 12(7). 12(7) does not allow you to acquire more 12(6) handguns, unless they were also inherited. You or your dad can never inherit a S&W Model 60, but you could inherit a '43 Luger, for example.

When your dad dies, you can inherit the suitable 12(6) or 12(7) guns. You can not acquire more 12(6)s unless you also inherit them.

Apparently granddad and dad are still alive, so your story stinks hard.

Funny, but the bad guys don't worry about 12(6) or whatever...

Only us law abiding folks.

Anyway, another couple of "must haves"....

Beretta 950B in .22 short with tip up barrel.

Browning Baby in .25ACP

Colt 1903 Pocket .32 ACP

Browning 1910 .32 ACP

And I did like that post for the S&W Model 58 [which is a fixed sites, 4" barrel in .41 Magnum!]
