I know Barry at bits of pieces here in the lowermainland, BC can do all that...
His prices are decent and he does good work.

BUT for turnaround time ...ahem.... yah, hope your the patient type.

Dave Jennings at w ww.jenningsoutdoorsports.com is one of the best I've encountered--does a lot of Remmy warranty work for a big box retailer. Plus he has a brake w/ 30 degree angled ports to reduce sound impact to the shooter.

I would give the guys at ATRS a call. They do great work! The muzzle brakes they produce are very effective! I had a brake installed by them and I got my rifle back within a couple of weeks. And they are in Calgary.

Hijack in progress!

I'll be wanting one eventually for my Win Mag. I see Grizzly offers a clamp on brake. Does anyone have experiance with this type of brake? Will it effect accuracy with the transition from barrel to brake being different to a fitted brake? How about the thing flying off into the weeds :D. I'm guessing for safeties sake you would need lots of tourque and maybe a little blue lock tight.

I really like this idea. If it works well it's got my vote! The cost isn't in the stratosphere and no threading on the barrel required. Let me guess no free lunch.

So you want it good, fast and cheap? Most places only two of those, but they might let you pick which two. And it even has to be close, gee, gunsmithing in Canada is a dying art, don't expect them to give you a handy in the parking lot, be happy with what you can find.

Just had Anderson Arms instal a brake on a .300win mag, fit, finish and quality were top shelf, had it back in less than 2 weeks, 200 bucks. I can e-mail you a picture of the finished product. You wouldn't be disappointed with the work, they are super meticulous. They are located a hour west of Edmonton.
