Looking to replace my norc flash hider with a brake and looking for suggestions. I would like to be able to still use my Bayonet if possible. What have you used and where did you get it in Canada.

Thanks.

One reason

Why on Earth would you need a brake then? You're shooting a .22-caliber varmint round...

Competition -

As in ipsc etc. - faster more accurate double taps because of less muzzle rise and recoil etc.

My pws brake on a 10 inch barrel turns the .223 into a .22 rimfire :)

And if your range is bump fire friendly - full auto - all rounds in target --

I'm partial to the KAC Triple Tap and the SF MB556K. Triple Tap is better though, stirs up less #### in the prone.

I haven't used any good brakes yet, but I've heard great things about the PWS and Surefire from people I know and trust, and seen the Triple Tap in action.

If I had the choice, Triple Tap, then Surefire or PWS.

I find the standard A2 flash suppressor decent enough. All I want to acquire is a custom one, longer with compensator built in to increase my barrel length 5.1cm (barrel: 29.2cm). Also with the possibility to equip a bayonet (though as almost pointless as that would be on a subcarbine, would still enjoy the option).

I wonder if there is already such a flash suppressor/compensator....

I think you are wrong. I believe Questar had some. Rambones bought one for a SR-15.

Yup - Questar has them listed on their site for $680 - they must the Cadillac of muzzle brakes!!

I think they look cool, and I am sure they perform great, but $680 - Ouch - even that is out of my price range!! and I love my unobtamium US parts as much as the next guy:D\

+1 on the Smith Enterprises or the ATR version!
