From those of you with the Tavor is it worth getting a brake for the one I ordered? Does it make a noticeable difference? Also the treading is the same as an AR right?

I put the YHM one on my Tavor.
yet .little help with the muzzle jump.
But it make a lot louder.

Bring back another old thread.....lol....

I picked up a muzzle brake today at TSE, AR mil spec or so it says....gets 1/4 threaded and locks up....are the new Tavor barrels not threaded the same as an AR?

If I crank it I'll strip it, and the OEM flash hider still goes on and off no problem, so nothing is wrecked..yet...haha

I put a Spartan break on mine... the tavor is just a .223, so the brake does not make a huge difference; the recoil might be reduced a little, but the difference is slightly more noticeable in terms of reducing muzzle jump. If you are into spending money to split hairs, like I am, go ahead and get one - but if you expect a bit more bang for your dollar, then don't bother with one.

Like all compensators, it depends on the ammunition you feed it. I put a PWS on mine and it makes a difference, even with 5.56.

Mine's a Nordic Components brake, and I did notice a difference with respect to keeping on target for follow-up shots. I think it was worth the price of the brake...

Lloydm, NICE setup! :)
