muzzle brake question?

i'm looking for a muzzle brake for the m1a.. just bought a criterion barrel

not really picky, just want a decent brake/sights that'll bolt right up, nice n tight

has anyone bought from brownells or treeline ? or are they not able to ship to Can.

only one i know of in Canada is armtac, are there other brakes sold here

I have a Springfield brake that seems like it is just the ticket - if I could get my flash hider off. I think spcamno I the EE often has a line on them.

emailed springfield to see if they'll ship their muzzle brake.... so far no word

from searching the old posts... it seems some people get them to occasionally ship...

smith enterprise makes a really good muzzle brake for the M1A and usually on ebay and it gets though customs

"...get my flash hider off..." You have an M1A or an M305? Some or most M305 brakes are spot welded on, as I recall. Like dimeN says, an M1A needs a tool.
You looking for a brake or a flash hider? Don't bother asking a U.S. retailer about M-14 parts. Those are restricted for export. M1A parts are not.

well, springfield emailed me back and said ok .... so i ordered it off their website

by chance does the norinco castle nut fit on the criterion barrel ?

They'll ship to Canada. Bought several off of them, a mag too.
Just call them and ask to speak to the person who handles orders from Canada. I believe her name is Kelly

Hi

just made my action wrench today
used the shaft from a truck "s" cam and the bit is made from a piece of heavy leaf spring
- it just came out of the temper
