Muzzle Brake That Will Fit the Kodiak Defense SKS-KD

The Kodiak Defense SKS-KD has a threaded muzzle with a thread of 14X1 Right Hand. Having trouble sourcing one that will fit. Most I find are 14X1 Left Hand thread. Anyone know of an effective muzzle brake that will fit this and does it have to be installed by a gunsmith. Haven't had a muzzle brake before so don't know the ins and outs of the muzzle device world.

14x1mm RH is what all of the VZ 58s and CZ 858s. Take , so any brake that fits those should fit ur Kodiak.... The LH. Is standard AK thread

I'm going to ask the next obvious question: Does anyone know where to get a crush washer that will fit the SKS-KD?
It takes the CZ 858 brakes so has a M14x1 RH thread.

Hmmm I never thought of using a crush washer before, I,ll have to look into those . Currently, to get the brake orientated properly, I just use a tension ring, and just file it down to the right thickness...

Your local Motion Bearing should have crush washers. Along with places like Bolt Supply House.
