Muzzle brake

I was able to shoot a friends rifle that had the PWS muzzle brake on it and it worked pretty good at lowering recoil without as much noise coming back. It's actually the brake I was to replace my Blackrose with, but its an Advanced Order item through Questar. They never have any in stock. Another that worked decently was the AAC Brake. Both of them are thread ons and both come with crush washers. The AAC is only $75 also. Which brings up another point. I don't understand why Surefire is so hard to get here, when AAC brakes are also designed for quick attaching suppressors and you can find them almost anywhere.

]I didn't even know black rose existed, why the hell are there so many people that are not on this site[/B], I would have bought one of there brakes instead of the badger thruster brake I have on my rifle now. There stuff does look pretty good. Also I went with a badger thruster muzzle brake, it works fairly ok, but I haven't had it out to shoot prone yet which will be the real test, also did not know that surefire brakes were so hard to get...

because its cost many thousands of dollars a year to be a dealer on CGN

spending money is always bittersweet. bye bye OT money, but hello gun parts! it was an expensive week at work in that regard but Im (mostly) done spending on this gun. ill just have to buy a pistol or shotgun to spend money on now.

I'm also looking at a muzzle break for my Savage 308.

Can anyone offer a comparison between CoreTac and Grizzly Gun Works? Any personal experience would be greatly appreciated!

I.e. noise levels for the shooter, do they come with the crush washer, reduction in muzzle rise and recoil, order time, etc etc....

The Surefire Brakes are classified as "Essential Military Equipment", I tried ordering from Brownells but no go. I spoke with someone IRUNGUNS and apparently they'll bring them in for you if you order off there US site.

Oooohhh ... this is the info ive been looking for. Surefire has some beautiful looking flash hiders

I have the Grizzly Gun Works and while I can't compare I liked that it was custom made for my rifle. You have to measure the end of your barrel in two spots. The very end and then 1" back. It fits very well and is effective. There are some tooling marks left on it, doesn't bother me but it might bother some others. Don't be in a hurry as it is a long wait from GGW

Here a pic of my Rem 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD with Surefire Muzzle Brake and also an up close pic of the brake.

The brake works phenomenally. Reduces just enough recoil without making the rifle insanely loud.

Canadian keeper I hate you. Cause you've done everything I've wanted for months now and now it's just gonna look like I copied you lol. And your from Ontario. This summer lets see who shoots it better.

hahaha! Nah you just have good taste! I plan on slapping a cadex stock on it so we can be different. Your only 2 hours away, there is potential. I don't claim to be the best that's for sure, just have some expendable cash for firearms lol.

I didn't do to much, put a break on it that's about it... Bipod... Optic, pretty standard... When the cadex comes in oh boy!
