I apologize ahead of time if this has been covered already. Has anyone used a coretacsolutions muzzle brake on any of their guns. They make one for my t3 sporter, and am thinking about ordering one. Any thoughts or comments appreciated. I dont really need on on a 6.5x55se, but the barrel is threaded already, so why not!

Still have to get around to before/after tests with my Coretac (performance, as well as noise level change, etc); this weekend is the plan. Mine's fitted to a 700 heavy barrel, 308.

Comments? The price was good, the service was EXCELLENT, and they're local (Mississauga, ON). I gave them good measurements, and the thing fits like a dream. Looks great too.

I bought the coretac muzzle brake. A little pricey but overall does reduce recoil at about a 35% as for noise! Without it you can shoot a few rounds no problem without being bothered but once you have that muzzle brake on! Plug your ears! The other issue I have is it is a little big and definetly adds a little weight! Easy to install and I like the two Allen key screws that hold it firmly. But overall was worth the purchase. I also bought it because it's a Canadian product! Although I wouldn't use it often because the model 700 already has fairly low recoil and for hunting would just be pointless!

I have the Grizzly Gunworks Defcon 1 muzzle brake on my T3 Sporter. It was done in 416 stainless with matte black finish. Price was $200 plus tax. Very happy with it.
