Looking at shopping closer to home for a clamp on in stainless to match my Remington SPS-SS-DM in 300wm

So I like:
CoreBrake by Coretac Solutions -Mississauga, ON
Grizzly Muzzle Brake by Grizzly Gun Works -Hamilton, ON

So question is, has anyone compared them? They look identical to me as if they are made by the same shop. Has anyone else found this?

I know coretac does not have a store front you can pickup at, but it seems Grizzly does, has anyone dealt with Jeff in person?
From a few bad past experiences, I'm not very fond any more of companies that hide completely behind PO Boxes. Just sayin

EDIT: Realized I just derailed your post, sorry. Looking at both of those brakes and comparing to what else is out there I dont think I could justify the money.

I've been eyeing one of these, much cheaper too http://primaryweapons.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=127&idcategory=6

Coretac brakes are made by Grizzly. I have several of them and he does my smith work, a stand up guy, no issues.

Jeff still makes them the old fashioned way. No CNC yet. Each one is milled. Mine is a thread on. I'm really into supporting Jeff. It's really nice to know that there is a good smith under 40 out there. I'm sure that with our support that Grizzly will grow. That means CNC. Anything can happen after that. Maybe even actions!!!!!

hes been good with answering emails for me, even in the evenings on weekends hes very quick about replying. turn around time is pretty good with him. ill get pics of my setup when it finds its way back to me early next week :D

dropped my gun off at grizzly tonight, cant say enough nice things about jeff. super nice guy to deal with, very friendly as well. ill post pics when my gun returns to me :D

Great info guys. I've been entertaining the idea of a muzzle break for a while now. It's difficult to follow up my shots and annoying to wear PAST shoulder pad. I'm just wondering if I should just have my muzzle threaded or get a clamp on? Path of least expense is always my crux.

If your in Canada, send your rifle to Grizzly Gunworks to thread your muzzle for one of those mean brakes ! Clamp on will save you a few bucks though.

from what ive heard a clamp on wont work as well as a thread on. wold you put a bandaid on a gunshot? if youre serious about shooting and dont want to cheese up your long range gun do it right the first time :)
