Muzzle brakes

I use sound gear electronic ear plugs. Almost all my guns have brakes. They are small and comfortable and work good for me. Lots of times I forget I have them in my ears.

I think you meant "Almost all my guns have brakes. I use sound gear electronic ear plugs. They are small and comfortable and work good for me. Lots of times I forget I have them in my ears."

At first I was thinking that I could use my safety account at work to get those sound gear plugs, but I don't think they will allow me to spend 1200$ Laugh2

I looked at the heathen, looks pretty good, there is one more in stock, but I just picked up a magnetospeed v3, so I will have to see if it is still available in a couple weeks.

Badger Thruster bored to diameter and timed to the barrel. Tried many combinations, nothing ever comes close to keeping your scope exactly on target when you shoot. Work very well but requires a Smith to install.

Ports are slightly above bore line and angled slightly upward to counter muzzle rise.

Oh ok, it was hard to tell from the photos. The Heathen also has an up and down as well. I like how the Heathen has the first port at 90, then the next two at an angle, I feel this keeps the sound off the shooter more because of the first 90 port blocking the blast from the angled ones.

Sounds similar to the MDT brake, it's also pretty decent for off the shelf type brakes and decently priced.
Edit...the Thruster works so well because it's bored to diameter, the gases get redirected to the ports much better then a generic brake that has to work with a variety of calibers.

Nice!
The Heathen has 4 different bore sizes to choose from as well.
