Muzzle Break for AR-15

I have a Dlask A6 brake on my 11.5 ar. The rifle shoots flat with no recoil. This will save you cash over your other options, as long as you can overlook not so great machining and massive side blast that won't make you any friends on the firing line.

I've decided to go with either the SJC Titan or the Effin A, whichever one I can get my hands on first. Anyone know where I can find the SJC?

Are there any issues with the pins/screws walking/coming loose after firing? A review I read stated that issue and loctite was recommended.

I have several different ones on ARs. My only concern is muzzle jump in the transition phase of CQB where I want to empty the rifle as fast as possible and switch over to the pistol, where I can use some extra time. Yesterday I ran a test.

I put up a sheet of paper at 25 yards, and aimed at a 1" black patch, and double tapped as fast as I could. I wanted to see where the second round went.

7 1'2" with a bird cage. Second round went high and left.

10.5" S&J copy of a famous brake. Forget which one. Second round went high.

14.5" with a $25 brake I got off Ebay. #330441589480 Second round went a bit low.

I tried this same cheap brake on a 10.5" and the blast in the face was too strong. It would work well on 14" and longer.

Thats what I'm worried about with the titan, I don't want to piss off everyone at the range.

Hahahaha really... If other shooters cant handel a bit of noise they should take up knitting.

I have a YHM 5M1 and dont give 2 sh!ts if people at the range dont like it.

If you're shooting a 16" what's wrong with the A2 again?
I've used the YHM phantom, 5C2, the AGW Linear Comp, aac blackout, smith voretex, pws fsc556...
I've just gone back to A2 (with the closed bottom end)

I`m currently using a DD Superior Suppression Muzzle Device and I like it! It doesn`t seem to reduce overall recoil, but you can definitely notice the recoil impulse is more straight into your shoulder with less muzzle rise. Side concussion is about the same as an A2. From seeing Earl Green running his during some low light courses, the flash signature is a little bit more than an A2. Not bad for a sub $100 muzzle device, great replacement for the standard A2.
