My muzzle break on my AR-15 won't stay tight.
When the gun gets hot, it loosens right off.

It has a crush-washer. But obviously that's not working for me.
Do most people use some type of glue or locktite on the threads?

Wouldn't blue locktite be useless once it gets hot? IIRC, heat breaks apart blue locktite.

Is the break torqued correctly? Might be worth it to try another crush washer. I've used both shims and crush washers and never had a problem with either on any of my ARs, although I prefer the crush washer over the shims personally.

Break out the torque wrench and make sure it goes at about 18ft.lb

I have a factory installed device came loose because the factory did not put enough torque on it. I have to add extra shim.

If you need to use any "thread adhesive " rocksett is the one to use as it goes all the way to 1000 deg. That's what AAC and sure fire recommend for their devices.
