I have taken off the bayonet from my SKS ,but left the lug intact, just in case someone wants to ''desporterize''it in the future.I am considering getting a muzzle break-are they actually functional-or is it just for looks?

What about bipods-some attach to the bayonet lug, others to the stock-does attaching them to the bayonet lug make any appreciable change to the point of aim-or should it be attached to the stock?

A properly installed brake is functional, but those twist-on, pin on brakes are dangerous and useless

still hoping to get some firsthand information on bipods for my SKS ,which models work, which don't.Not much point in having something[ie-lug attached models] that negatively effects accuracy
