Muzzle Breaks for cz 858??

Ya, Paul is one of the most knowledgable men in Canada when it comes to this rifle. The only problem is trying to get a hold of him. He is quite busy man but he is info & insight is well worth the wait.

How do these install?.. I see the thread protector is pretty loose with just that pin holding it in place.

How do the breaks fit tight? Do you need any smithing to get them installed?

you just push the pin down and screw off the protecter and screw on the brake or flash supresser.i have the krinkov on mine.

But does the hider move around like the thread protector did? it wasn't exactly screwed on tight.

What I'm worried about is having a big vibrating piece of metal on the end of my barrel rather then having it threaded nice and tight.

I got one of the 'Quick Discharge' ones, cuts recoil a LOT, feels more like shooting my M1 Carbine.

must be tight !

accuracy suffers if not tight-
plumbers teflon tape - 8 to 12 wraps - and it lasts :)

it is very easy to file the back until they time right and are tight, file until it touches fsb at 11:00 (when staring down the muzzle) then tighen it and it wont wobble. I have some ak74 style brakes if your interested.
