Muzzle breaks/stripper clips

I like the taped way but with strippers cut to 5's you get to fully load the bandolier, filling all pockets including the big end you can get 220 rounds in 5rd stripper clips that are cut. Pretty good way to load up and go shooting, one less bag or box to carry around.

Stay away from the NCstar muzzle brakes, mine, when attached correctly and as tight as possible (this was a bolt down) still resulted in bullets clipping the top rim of the break and deflecting down into the ground about 6-8 feet in front of the target. Lucky it didn't blow off the gun or spray fragments everywhere.

well that would suck
any ideas of changing the look of the end of my sks?
tried google and not much help, or I just didn't see it...
would be nice if I could remove the front sight and screw on a brake

I've removed the front post and bayonet lug, looks way better to me, I had a scope on my Chinese one along time ago. never wanted to use the irons anyway. Super easy to do and took me 5 minutes and a bit of elbow grease. It only takes a hammer, punch, and a peice of wood. Knock the two pins out and once you have removed them take the block of wood and hit the front post off your barrel

have you considered threading it?
would you mind posting a couple of photos?
I thought about removing and leaving it bare but not sure what it would look like
once its removed any chances of installing a muzzle brake?
I guess looking at some of the AR 15 types I'd like to know if anyone has put on a brake like some of those on an sks
thanks
Glenn.
