Got a quick question for those in the know, as I don't have a lathe (yet). Is there anyone in Canada who carries the hand-operated muzzle crown cutters with pilots, similar to the ones sold by Brownell's or Pacific Tool and Gauge? I will order out of the U.S. if necessary, but the exchange is kind of nasty at the moment. Would just need one with a .300 pilot as I only have a couple older rifles to do. Yes, I could get a real gunsmith to do it, but just want to try it first - if I really screw it up then off to the smith I go, lol.
Thanks for any information. If I'm up creek so be it, just figured I'd ask.

Pick the least valuable one, a vise ,masking tape-to mark cut square-, new hacksaw blade, and a fine file. Dress the cut & outer edge with file and to chamfer bore cut the hex off bolt of appropriate size, chuck it in a drill.
Round/smooth cut off against file and sand paper and chamfer by dipping in valve grinding compound. Has worked for me.
