Looking for a MD for my new 10.5" barrel.

Will primarily be using it outside under a canopy.
What's most important to me is reducing concussion and muzzle flip, not as concerned about linear recoil reduction or flash.
Just trying to reduce the noise and the flip.

Any ideas gents?

In my experience, youre asking for a double negative. You want something that isn't noisy, but reduces muzzle rise and unfortunately the only thing that's going to do that is a suppressor.
Anything that's going to reduce muzzle rise (compensator) is going to be reasonably louder or more concussive than say a standard flash hider. On the other hand, a standard flash hider doesn't do much for muzzle rise.

Gunshots are loud and concussive regardless of muzzle device. The only realistic option Canadians have is to "go louder" with the use of breaks and comps.

I'm not sold on their purpose, but it is possible something like a compensator and blast shield combination may be what you're after. Something such as a Surefire warcomp paired with a Surefire warden. I think they're a stupid idea as a full time unit, but adding the warden when you need it(indoors and canopy) and then removal of it when you don't makes it a somewhat possibly useful addition.

My apologies for not understanding which features trade off for the other. It makes more sense now. I guess what I'm really looking for is a linear comp then because I got a kungfu grip that's for sure.

Some options

Noveske KX3 Flaming Pig

Griffin Armament M4SD II Flash Comp + Griffin Armament QD Blast Shield

VG6 Precision Gamma 556 + VG6 CAGE Device

My 10.5 PSA came with a flash can. It works VERY well killing flash and redirecting noise down range. Still loud when shooting inside.

Flaming Swine is made in Canada and is about 1/3 of the price of Noveske Flaming Pig.

a2 flash hider. no concussion or loud noise.

And a pair of 5lb dumbells for you to work on some muscle strength so that you dont think 223 is a large caliber.

Yes. There is more gas coming out of the barrel. But newton law, it will have less force going back into your shoulder, hence less perceived recoil
