Muzzle device for 11.5 CQB rifle?

Hello all wondering what is everyone is running on the 10.5 to 12.5 inch rifles?? Looking to upgrade the stock A2 flash hider to something else.... Any suggestions and reasons to choose that model would be great!! Cheers!
 
I put a FSC556 on my 10.5 inch once....... felt like someone punched me in the nose everytime I shot. Pissed off everyone around me. Switched over to a SPEX style to direct it down range.

I guess my point is..... dont get something with swept back baffles. Try something that is ported or perpendicular baffles.

(PS put the FSC556 on my 18.6 inch XCR..... barrle rise is near nothing.... just vibrates.... scope stays on target the whole time)

All i know for the shorties is something pleasent or something obnoxious. I have not found the happy middle yet.

Actually I am testing out the new ATRS comp/FS on a 14inch in a couple hours :)
Ill let you know.
 
Just changed an A2 for a Hera Arms Comp on my 10.5 shorty. Pushes the report and flash to the front. Seems to work pretty good so far and definitely gives a pretty interesting muzzle flash... The price is quite reasonable as well. Purchased from Freedom Ventures who is a board sponsor.
 
I have a Battle Comp 2.0 on my 12.5 AR and I like it but I have a Troy Claymore on my 12.5" ACR and I love that, The muzzle blast and sound is pushed down range and shooting prone or under obstacles does not produce a large dust cloud. As well I can shoot next to someone without pissing them off. :)
Dont get me wrong the Claymore does not do as much for recoil as the Battlecomp but for .223 I never found it to hard to stay on target even doing faster shots.
Anyway I found it to be a great device and I am thinking of changing my Battlecomp out for another Claymore.
 
You don't need a brake or compensator.

Unscrew it and shoot!










Other than that Im looking at ATRS, PIG, or the Troy Claymore.
