Muzzle devices for a 10.5" AR?

im in a bit of the same situation. ive got a 10.5 and a 12.5 and the guys at the range complain about the sideblast with the a2 flash hiders.
what do you guys think about linear brakes? OST has them for $60

Not sure, why they call them breaks, cause they are not.
That unit will direct the blast forward so it will do what you are looking for on the cheap.
I have one, it works. I find they kind of look cool too.

I once pulled a fast one on my GF, showed it to her after I installed it, and told her my AR would now fire 7 bullets at a time.
She believed me for a second or two.

I use a PWS CQB. Works really well at forcing blast down range. I have a flaming pig too but found this one was a bit better (it is on a 7.5 inch). Be just as good on a 10.5 I would think

I agree, the PWS seems to do a better job...plus it just looks purdy...

this is a Norinco 10.5 I did up last summer

Thanks guys; this is all very helpful. Once thing that occurs to me; am thinking of getting out to some CQB matches this summer: are any of these brakes/compensators/loudeners more or less good at minimizing the amount of dirt kicked up in urban prone?
