Muzzle Devices for SBRs?

With the flash hider you'll get flash suppression without the obnoxious muzzle blast/concussion

Based on what I'm reading, I might be getting some of that already with a 10.5" barrel. The Warcomp + Warden combo is looking pretty practical in terms of flash/rise/concussion reduction. Might need to hold up a few extra Wells Fargo stagecoaches to pay for it though.

Just be thankful the WiFi sucks on those stagecoaches, or you would have blown your whole plan.

IMO, there's a difference between noise and blast/concussion. I fully expect every AR to be loud, but muzzle blast and flash is a whole different thing. I don't care about shooting next to someone on a 3d range who has a loud gun; that's what my earpro is for. What I hate is getting hot debris blown at me and a tan from the muzzle flash. Stand next to someone with a Lantac Dragon and you'll see what I mean.

My reasoning for going with a flash hider instead of a Warcomp was that the flash hider has one job that it does very well; to hide flash. The warcomp has two jobs that it only does so-so in comparison to dedicated devices. Not to mention that I personally don't see the need for a compensator on a 5.56, but that's just my opinion. On top of that, I like to shoot in the dark (sometime with NODS) so flash suppression is king.

A warden isn't going to assist in concussion reduction; it's only going to redirect it forward instead of out the direction of the ports. (depending on how you time it) If concussion reduction is a concern of yours at all, a warcomp doesn't make sense, imo. A plain old flash hider is going to be much kinder to the people next to you; even an A2 will get the job done, but it's not as gucci (which is admittedly important)

The warden is nice for shooting outdoors if you're going to be going prone or urban prone; it really does help keep dust/debris from kicking up due to muzzle blast.

Either way, +1 internet points to you for being considerate of the people you shoot next to. My surefire 3 prong ended up on my gun because I felt bad about shooting fireballs around the people next to me with my Griffin M4SD compensator.
