Got a brand new Savage MkII BV for a birthday present :dancingbanana:

But took it out of the box and saw this:

Notice the little dings on the outer edge of the muzzle. There are 3 with the worse on being the most visible. The crown is recessed in the middle, as target rifles are to protect it. Is this going to affect accuracy? It's a pita to return it and i'm using it for hunting/plinking/target practice to the slight aesthetic issue doesnt bother me. The box wasn't banged up, this happened before it went in the box. The dings are on the inner edge of where the muzzle is bevelled back toward the butt. Though the picture makes it look to bevel in toward the bore, the other part of the muzzle is actually pretty much flat. Then it slopes down into the crown.
Any opinions on whether the dings, on the outer edge of the muzzle and with the recessed crown, will affect the accuracy? I wanted the rifle because it's known to be very accurate, so while competition grade perfection isn't necessary (I'd definately return it then), if this is going to enlarge group size I wont be happy with it. I haven't shot it yet, and dont want to do anything with it or (I assume) a return wont be possible.
 Opinions...?

Thanks guys, i thought it was OK but I was obsessing about it, it's only the third brand new rifle I've had and it was bugging me.

Anyway here's a picture of the rifle so you can see the stock, a more appealing picture.
