Didn't mean to highjack a couple of posts back. But I do carry muzzle down myself, out of necessity when my shoulder hurts and I need a change. But several years ago, I came across what's called a "Viper" sling. Took a long time to find one, they went out of business, but I did snag one at the Calgary gun show. Got it for a steal, nobody knew what it was all about. It allows you to carry you rifle slung across your belly, swing it up to shoulder with minimal movement. It's quite complex but allows changes in carry style very rapidly. Anyone else heard of these Vipers ?
