Muzzle loader demonstration info required

I seem to recall something about a muzzle loader/ black powder demonstration or event of some nature that occurred in one of the national parks, I believe it may have been Banff, some time ago. Is there anyone here that can help fill in some details?

Fort Langley in BC has a 2 or 3 day event in August each year and features I think a small amount of blank firing as well as a number of people camped out in period tents and costumes. I also think that Fort Niagara has blank firing during the summer months

There is a real blackpowder shooting event in Kamloops and in Pr. George. They are in the summer, but not held in a park. Most parks have rules against firearms. Some of the guys on here can tell you when.

The big even in Kamloops is the annual Rondyvous which is held the last week of August and ends with the Labour Day weekend. Do a google search for Heffley Creek Rondyvous and you will find the web page
