muzzlebrake - is it worth it?

Of Course !

Of course, but I am also willing to bet that you do not shoot 100 rounds of the stuff in a sitting. Besides, everybody loves a .50!

The best was a WW2 russian anti - tank gun we fired , the concussion flattened the grass for 20 yards on each side of the cannon. The shells were about $40 a pop, it had to be loaded on the back of a pick up instead of being towed. We had to put a tarp over it for the highway and a red flag on the end of the barrel. (The range has a rule - we can shoot anything as long as it isnt on wheels so we didnt tow it, but a sled bi-pod was O K):D
