Muzzleloading pistol found in river

It's a POC wall-hanger for a cheap pirate-themed bar somewhere. I remain utterly amazed that anybody here might even begin to imagine that this is the real deal.

Screws normally as a rule thread from the left side thru the stock to the backside of the lockplate.

If you look closely at the ####(hammer) there is no way that jaws of the #### could hold a flint as the top jaw screw is too far forward.It is obviously a fake gun but even if it had been real why in the hell would you call the police.I bet the cops showed up and with rubber gloves on and carefully took possession of this dangerous weapon and have been examing it carefully in their forensics lab

Go 'fishing' with a magnet off any road bridge that crosses a river in or near any major town or city. There are YouTube videos on the subject.
