My 10/22 I got for Christmas! Pics now!

Just got one today, on Boxing Day at SIR/Cabbelas in Winnipeg, the cheapest one they had, for $229. Until 1:00 PM they were not charging any tax either, so I only paid the sticker price. Apparently the price will go up on January 1st to $289, so buy 'em now while they still go cheaper then what some guys want for them on the EE.
 
What does yours look like cz? That's less than I paid for mine. Good deal! Still can't wait to shoot it. Today I sat here and held my gun. I am so pathetic, I really want to shoot it. I am going out tomorrow no matter what. This is very frustrating. Argh!
 
Mine is just the base model, "Standard Sporter", with blued barrel and receiver and a nice hardwood stock; it is also drilled for mounting a scope.
I don't think anyone sells them cheaper in Canada(NEW); I have been looking at getting one of these for weeks, even a used one would have been ok, but I figured, why pay $220-$240 for a used one in the EE, when I can just walk into SIR and pick one up myself, a new one.
As for shooting it...not anytime soon, not in Winnipeg at least...it's still cooold...:)
 
I got out today!!!!! It was so fun. I love it!! I was going back and forth between my 10/22 and my SKS. I only stayed out for about an hour and a half but I went through alot of ammo. Great gun, very accurate. I can`t wait to go again! Came home and cleaned my guns. Sure is easier cleaning the 10/22 than the SKS. I love my gun!!! And it's sooooo pretty!:p

i was at our local range today .i too shot my 22.we have about a foot of snow in there now .all in all it was nice to get out and do some shootin .
 
I love it at the range. It's all quiet and then the shooting and then the quiet... This afternoon there were these 3 ducks that circled around and were just about to land and then there was shooting and they did the cutest little about face and headed out of there. It was so funny how they reversed. Yes I thought about it, but I have never shot at a living thing before and I don't think the range is where to do it. lol.

I think your Christmas present is super you will have many great days at the range. The Ruger 10/22 is like buying a basic Harley, you can get just about anything your heart desires to attach or chenge it.

its been cold, snowy and crappy here for a looong time too where is fraser valley near too?

Thanks, it's my roller derby name. And my number is AK-47. Not too many people actually get it. lol. The Fraser Valley is near Vancouver. This is the most snow I can remember in forever. I kinda like it, just don't like some of the other drivers. But I did get out to shoot today!!! Yay! And new combat boots too! Whoohoo!
