I was finally able to get out today and do some shooting.Ran 150 rounds of bulk Blazer thru my 10/22,had 5 FTF,always the first round from a full mag.Not sure if it's the ammo or the gun.Gonna have to do some experimenting I guess. Also ran about 50 rounds thru my FV-SR to check functioning and no probs.

Restricted unless you have an extra long stock. Look good though. I was looking for JWH bolt but went with a dlask bolt since it was so sale.
I had the same barrel on my axiom stock and I would have to pin it to make 26" plus it was crazy loud. So I sold it for what I paid for it. For awhile dlask barrels were hard to come by.
My set-up is a ch22 receiver, axiom stock, dlask bolt, tacsol barrel and trs-25 rds.
Total weight is 3.7lbs loaded.
Hope you get some gophers!

I wish we had gophers up here.We do have groundhogs though. The snow here is still up to my crotch. Here's a pic I took today of my camper.

I think you should be honest with people about how HEAVY that Dlask bolt is! Plus, unless you have an extra long one, it renders your gun "restricted"... My gun weighs 14 ounces... but that is without the scope, the scope adds almost a full ounce! So the total weight is just shy of 15 ounces, but when I load it, it is friggin' HEAVY... over ONE POUND, so I'm not going to load it, this way I won't get tired when I am hunting, plus I don't have to buy ammo so it will be cheap to carry... I find those Axiom stocks way too loud so I sold mine for what I paid for it... I wouldn't be able to shoot it anyway because all my magazines got confiscated at the border, but I told the company to keep shipping them until something gets through...

Build looks good... but be careful about fingers at the front grip... I had the 8" on my daughter's pinky build, but noticed how easy it was to get your hand very close to the muzzle... I decided to err on the side of caution for her gun and changed it to a 12.5"... not so much of a problem for an experienced adult, but still worth keeping in mind... particularly because every kid who sees the gun is going to want to shoot it.

P.S - we still have two or three feet of snow here also...

I took my tacsol barrel down to 8 inches cause I was tired of blowing out my shoulder! A dlask? That's just crazy! Here is a video of little airwolf shooting a dar 22! Not the greatest for the gopher field! http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NBntnnCFvOk

You cut your barrel down to 8"?.........ya not good man not good at all

Lol I believe that was a shot at littleairwolf and him acting like all Dlask barrels are turned out of depleted uranium (ie: the tacsol reference). Clearly lang hasn't been following because he would never use an 8" barrel since they're "crazy" loud.

Edit: OP, thats a really nice build. I second the hoyt comment about muzzle awareness, but the AFG should take care of that. Looks great.
