My 10/22

bought my first Ruger about 6 weeks ago... was planning on putting it in a g36 kit but my buddy bought a hunter stock for his 700 and i fell in love with it so i decided to get one for the 10/22... not sure what "model" i started out with but the receiver is dated from 1966 i believe... anyway this is what i started with


the front site has been repaired with glue of some kind and the rear of the receiver has been drilled for cleaning (had to google why someone would do that lol) also had the auto bolt release mod done...




first things i did was add a scope i had off a pellet gun (until i got a different one) and got myself the hunter x22 stock for it




next i got a simmons 3x9 and a red trigger (because i like red and the scope has a red ring on it) i got a m-lok bipod point and put a bipod on i had lying around and i got a new bigger handle for the bolt and some flip up scope covers




new barrel its a PWS 16.1" carbon fiber tension barrel





put a matador muzzle brake on it cuz i didnt like the look on the shorter barrel and did a muticam paint job

next i have a multicam hydro dip kit on the way for the stock and a new barrel on the way

no way that is a 1966 ruger.
the trigger looks plastic from the pic, if so then that is since 2010 and forward.

if you take the number off your gun and check it against the ruger database you can find the exact year of manufacture.

thats what i did number is 90927... dosent mean somebody at some point didnt put a different trigger group in... and after rechecking its a 67-68 thanks for worrying about it tho?
