My 12g shot gun is now prohibited for turkey and already got my tag

Ask why. Not what you think. Me CSSA have no right to even ask let alone expect them to do this.They are barely hanging on as it is from the virus
If my shop they would be told where to go as some have
Sad part they are in a no win situation don't and some buyers will not buy from them again and do and the same will happen from other buyers
In the end it will cost them business one way or the other

Wasn't CSSA, it was CSAAA. They're the organization that oversees Canadian firearms industry. They didnt tell anyone they had to, they advised what they would do. A lot took their advice and apparently some didn't.

OH boy

The Canadian Sporting Arms and Ammunition Association (CSAAA) and the Canadian Shooting Sports Association (CSSA) demand the immediate withdrawal of the flawed Order in Council.

I honestly have no idea what your post has to do with mine.

CBSA= forcing cone measurement.

Actually, CBSA = full length of barrel including the muzzle.

Bore – the inside of the barrel of a firearm, from the throat to the muzzle, through which the projectile travels

The RCMP seem to agree. The shotgun in the video doesn't have a removable choke either. It was measured before the choke.

This morning, the RCMP confirmed the first 12-gauge shotgun prohibited under the new Order-in-Council.

The deadly evil weapon? An old Iver Johnson single-shot, fixed choke 12-gauge shotgun with a 2 3/4" chamber. That's right, a standard old farm gun.

RCMP Technical Unit Supervisor, Tim Hobbs, confirmed this firearm would be classified as prohibited in a phone call with a prominent firearms dealer.

See this firearm being measured - see for yourself:

That’s why we asked for the legal opinion of one of Canada’s top firearm lawyers, Edward L Burlew LL.B. iii
