Nah I finished it last night, becuase I got my aimpoint in. I had it in the photo gallery but wasn't getting many hits. Figure belongs here.

Nice work Rob !

I really like that tactical trigger lock
You should paint it desert tan, to match the rifle
I hope there's not alot of rapists in your neiborhood

Seriously, the G&P aimpoint clone is a wise choice.
It functions well and we can paint it without fear of f*king it up or affecting the resale value if it were a real Aimpoint.

I had the same YHM flip-up FS, but was disappointed to see how easily it had been knocked off center. I replaced it with the standard A2 FSB, along with a fiber-optic front sight.

You being in the military, it would make sense to purchase a good weapons light like the Surefire M952. I haven't been issued the C7A2 yet and I don't know if it comes with the "Diemaco tactical light", but i wouldn't expect the Diemaco light to be much better than a Surefire M9xx series.

What I don't understand is why civies purchase a 350-400 $ weapon-mounted tac light. Aren't gun clubs closing at sunset ?
A plain Nitrolon G2 or Streamlight Scorpion with a decent quick-release mount does the job for a civilian AR15 (increasing the LCF  ) for about 250 $ less !

I also saw Pavehammer with those KNS anti-walk pins. I thought they were only useful when combined with a NM trigger. Do they really improve the trigger pull on a standard trigger group ?

it's suh purty cleetis, i'ma liken that paint job

Nice work, let me know how the paint holds up to wear an tear
