I had 1500 bucks to spend and decided I would get into the AR game. For once I didnt completely blow my budget. I bought everything brand new from a couple of the site sponsors and am now just playing the waiting game for the transfer. Even before taking the rifle home I knew i wanted to do away with as much of that A2 furniture asap... All in all though I feel like I got a great start for my first AR and its 100% ready to go for inside my budget!

Here is my setup so far:
M&P Sport II
Vortex Spitfire x3 optic
AMD 13.5" freefloated hand guard
BCM gunfighter stock
BCM lowpro gas block

Still looking for a different pistol grip and different muzzle device.... but these are minor add-ons at this point. Any suggestions are welcomed just keep in mind its suposed to be a budget gun.... no 150$ pistol grips or 400+$ breaks. :)

What about a hogue grip?

I like the Magpul pistol grips (MOE or MIAD) much better than any other grip I've tried. As for brakes/flash hiders, I'd leave the A2 on for now and either save the cash or, as mentioned by Still Alive above, get a new trigger and charging handle.

For pistol grips, I recommend anything with reduced angle. Much less shooter fatigue when using them and just about everyone is going in that direction anyways. I recommend the BCM brand of grips. Comfortable, grippy, reduced angle, what's not to like.

What do you want in terms of muzzle devices? Flash hider/compensator/muzzle brake?
Lots of options in your price range.

I'd also recommend the BCM grips. I really like mine. Magpul is also a great option as well, but I'm not sure if they have the reduced angle.

As far as a muzzle device, the Lantac Dragon works really well, but it's loud and not very budget friendly. I've also heard good things about the Matador Arms Hammerhead; Canadian made and won't break the bank ;)

How do you like your spitfire 3x on it? I’ve got a Mp15 sport 2 on the way and I was wondering if I put this optic on it. i currently have my spitfire 3x on my x95 but I feel like it’s not an optimal choice for an x95.

There were three prong muzzle brakes at sfrc a while on sale. I picked up a few. I forget the brand name but they work well. It's the same one cansofcom were using.

Thanks everyone for your reccomendations. I will take a look at the BCM grips! Im kinda currious why aftermarket charging handles are being reccomended? Im a bit new in the AR game and didnt really think of that at all.

In terms of muzzle devices I need to do more research into what I want out of it. I just think the A2 birdcage is beyond hideous haha.

So I havent even put one round through this set up yet. I bought the optic specifically for this gun and dont have any personal experiance to give yet.... that said I did a ton of research and even found some reviewers using the Sport2 as their testing platform for the optic. I couldnt find anyone with anyrhing bad to say about it. Ive heard it mounts high so isnt ideal for many bullpups though. I have high expectations for it- the selling feature for me (other than vortex's warrenty) was the reticle. Ive heard aome great things about the ERB-556b.... kinda the closest your going to get to an acog without spending 1500+ bucks.

It really depends what your intended usage is for the rifle. For competition like 3 gun, a bigger/better designed charging handle is much easier to manipulate quickly. In a stage where you have to shoot, and then clear/dump your rifle quickly, it makes a big difference.

For plinking or casual range use, zero difference. Other than looking better, your money would definitely be better spent elsewhere.

Touching base on the above, once you start using charging handles with a larger surface area you'll wonder how you ever did without them. I personally use the BCM mod 4's on all of my rifles.
If you've never felt you needed one, there's really no reason to upgrade one until you've run out of things to do.

The Magpul K2 models are reduced angle, I swapped my OEM with the K2+, rubber grip surface and much better angle than the stock grip.

+1 ^^ the k2+ is a great grip I have one on my 102 and 2 of my 4 ar15. The moe + is good to. The spitfire is a good sight as well. I run one on my 14.5" and it works great and the redical is pretty spot on for hold over if you run 55gn. If you have a few extra bucks grab a sling I have come to love the magpul ms4 throw a qd reciver plat on and a qd rail mount if you hand guard doesn't have one and your ready to rock.
