My 1st and 2nd K-31's and now K11 !!

Well it arrived today, my K11. It's all matching but missing the front thingie that you lean it against the other rifles. The bore is mirror but the bluing is 80%. The wood is not bad and I don't see any arsenal refenish stampings on the rifle. The sling is swiss but I'm not sure if it's for the same era or added later. I need to consult the Swiss rifle guru Diopter for more info :D

Well folks,

I met up with Speck at the range today. I'll attest that those K31's are sweet rifles :) . I'm impressed with the fit and finish on these rifles, these are really more then you would expect from a milsurp rifle. I'm going to have to think of a way to sneak one of these past the wife.

His K11 is also a nice rifle and it has a super trigger.

My thanks to Speckfire for letting me fire some rounds downrange.

Thanks Speck :)

Hmm I'm contemplating a 3rd Scarecrow ;)

You have 2 scarecrows?

I took my K31 to the range today as well. Man, this is a tidy little carbine. 12"x16" gongs weren't a huge challenge at 200M and 300M

Hmm... it's been a busy day for K31s around Montreal today.

Speckfire, happy with your's?

9mm Suppository, How was your day?

:D excellent! Thanks again Carlos!

was shooting pretty crummy until I recieved a few words of wisdom from the swiss master and I guess the diopter sights didnt hurt either :p (gotta get a set now) heres how I ended my day with the K31:

Words cannot describe the feeling shooting the K31. Everytime I cycled the rifle. The empty shells landed the exact same place. I was more impressed with that than my grouping.:D

I shot today just for fun, test firing. No serious grouping. However it was on target. It did shoot high as you said Diopter, I was aiming at 6 oclock and hitting bulleyes at 100m,

I'm very impressed with it eventhough I was test firing it. Soon I'll scope one (No bubba job) and diopter the other and them we'll see. ;)

BTW 9mm That's the best grouping I've seen you do with a milsurp. Great job... Now I need to borrow Diopter from you :D

Took the swiss sweeties to the range, speckfire, scarecrow and I all had a swiss contribution or two, now this is what a shooters bench should look like!

Speckfires best group with the scoped K31...thats 5 rounds there! :ar15:

Awesome day! Nothing beats shooting the K31, but the finn m28-30 did come close. The k31 action is just to slick to beat though :) Get one while you can!

Nice ones, guys....

Ivan, where did you get the nice K31's? I'm broke right now, but I'll start playing the lottery tomorrow, just for that.

Thanks for sharing. You still owe me a range report..... Got some tricks for K98 to shoot better,,,,

Lucky bastard....

Shooting jackets.
Make long sessions at range more enjoyable.
No need to add ugly recoil butt pads.
Score and groups will improve too.

Btw: Was that group shot by the 84T or 86A GP11?

84, do you think there is enough variation between lots that a group like that would be impossible with different dated ammo? The swiss seem to make everything consistant

Certain lots can be somewhat better in certain rifles.
Never seen a bad lot of GP11, but some will do slightly better in a particular rifle. Depends too on how well the action/stock is tuned also.

Hahaha Thanks,

I was going to give a Izze mauser report but my scout mount was moving I will work on it again.

Diopter the GP11 ammo is out of this world. Extremely impressive. I tuned the rifle as to your instructions and here are the results :D
