Lol thanks Curtton. I do have an m71 wood stock i may put on it but i think an AK47 stock will look cool. Haven't decided on which one yet but have an AK stock being custom made right now from my good friend ButtWhat

I would go with the M71 stock. Then instead of having a Bubba M78 RPK with the wrong stock you will have a beauty all Finnish HBar AKM. Still Pure!!

I have a 556 version M78 that I will be getting Ian at Heron Arms to make a 18.6" pencil barrel for me which will utilize the 78 gas block etc. Might be a little more expensive than the way you chose however it will be a bunch lighter

I was going to do that but I would rather keep the valmet barrel (which I believe was made by sako) then replace It with something else.

You do realize, of course, that Dr Ron Charach (a great Canadian, I might add) now thinks that you're a very bad man. How do you sleep at night? Really, if I were you, my conscience would force me to stay awake at night (I'd be fondling that Valmet all night)

LMAO!!!!
Still not quite finished. Need to replace the stock with something. Probably the M71 stock I have coming to me or an AK stock made for the valmet. Haven't decided yet.
