My 2 Valmet M78 7.62x39's

Beautiful guns, the M/76 is the best AK ever made (if you don't consider the SIG 550 an AK).
 
Man they look great. If I had the spare cash, I'd do the same. I don't know too much about the Valmets -do they accept original AK wood furniture? Getting wood on the upper lower handguard as well as a slanted brake would complete the look IMO.
 
Lol, from the rear of the sight base to the chamber it is 17.5" cuz the muzzle brake actually uses 1" of thread to screw on which gives it a bit more shorter appearance but in reality still Non Restricted

They dont fit directly on, it would need some work for that. As for the AK brake, it can be done but the muzzle brake is attached to the front sight so that too would need tinkering
 
It is and it isn't too bad but yes it is a very attractive rifle. So attractive I think the lady is getting kicked outta bed to make room for the shorty tonight, unless that backfires and I'm sleeping on the couch.
