well today i decided I would fill this whitetail general tag because i have put on so many miles on foot trying find a decent white.I had had enough so it was an "anything goes"kind of day.but I changed my mind when i rattled in a little 2 point.I decided to wait.then about 5 hours and about 4 miles later I was rattling for about 20 min and gave up so i stood up and not 15 yards away was this guy but he took off just as I looked at him and didn't leve me with a good shot.I made my way around the bush he was in but then i saw he had gone right through and was in some willows about 300yards out so I took the shot and he ran off.good blood trail.good body on him and not a bad mid season buck.just nice to get it over with in a way.I was gonna hold off for the big guy I have been watching since last season but he dissapeared about 3 weeks before sept.same as last year.anyhow here is my buck no monster but has a neat looking rack and a big body
