My 2011 Moose

Here's my moose I shot on opening day. He's about a 1 year old bull.



One of the bull my brother shot. Took about 8 hours and a front end loader to get this beast out of the bush. Lesson learned I guess. Picture of me with my youngest. My wife doesn't know what to think about it...



Brought my girls down when all the excitement was done to enjoy the festivites. Now my oldest asks me every couple of days if we can got hunting. I found the skull while trying to look for my brother's animal.



We were able to shoot 2 ruffed grouse while out looking for moose. Here's my brother(looking unimpressed).

Shot one about the same size last week. I'm really looking forward to eating this one as it should be nice and tender. I know lots of guys that want to hold out for a 55+ moose. But personally I'll take a spiker everytime, they're a lot easier to handle and the meat is way more tender. Congrats on a successful hunt.
