57 7/8 inches taken with one shot from a new rifle in .270 Win. What a great way to break the ice on a new rifle! With some rifles, things just seems to happen more often... hope this will continue.
Winchester M70 Extreme Weather SS. Handloads were 54 grains of IMR 4831 under a 150 grains Speer Grand Slam. Shot in the front left shoulder, pass throught the shoulder blade and ended under the hide back of the right shoulder. He ran 40 yards. bullet kept 70% of his weight.
I took it in Qc at the Reserve Faunique du Saint-Maurice.
