Nice shooting. I added you to the list.

This wraps up one of my 2018 Rimfire goals, as it the last rifle I own to complete the challenge. That's it! No more! I'm done! I picked up this Walther KKJ-T over a year ago, and actually shot a qualifying target in short order. I had wanted to do it with the iron sights, though, and spent some time attempting it this year. Came close with groups in the 0.4's and 0.5's, but the irons just didn't cut it. Having misplaced the first qualifying target, I put a scope back on and had to shoot another. It took a couple trips to the range, as even with a scope, many an attempt were foiled by a group or two going over 1/2". I eventually figured out that the barrel has to be clean, and I've got less than 100 shots to get it done before the barrel needs cleaning again. This made things difficult to test and find the ammo that shoots best. I remember having good results with SK standard when it was warm, but now it is cold and I am out of that ammo, so I used SK Biathlon and found success.

Rifle: Walther KKJ-T
Ammo: SK Biathlon Sport
Scope: Sightron SII 6-24x fine duplex
Rest: Caldwell Rock with narrow front bag, Caldwell rear bag
Groups: 0.424", 0.340", 0.400", 0.375", 0.320", 0.379", 0.368", 0.470", 0.411", 0.293"
Average = 0.379"

Older pic from when I was shooting it with irons. I also restored the rifle, as finish was worn through to the wood in several spots, dents and dings from a "well loved" life, missing it's butt plate so I put a grind-to-fit low profile Limbsaver recoil pad on it, and refinished it with satin lacquer through HVLP spray.

Nice shooting Rabid. I added you to the successful list.

After a remeasure my last whole is .505

I really don't mean to be the party-pooper and it doesn't change the end result but, according to my math, the first group is 0.398", not 0.338".

Got two entries today. Temp was -7c and winds were light. Using sk biathlon sport in both rifles. This stuff really seems to shoot well. All 5 shot groups at 50 yards from a front and rear rest.
First entry is a tikka t1x. Scope is a bushnell elite 4500 8-32x. Group sizes: .369, .370, .431, .262, .276. Avg group size: .341

Second entry is an Anschutz 54 match. Scope is a meuller 8-25x. Group sizes: .277, .215, .199, .411, .194. Avg group size: .259

Great shooting Super7. It’s nice to get a Tikka on the list. I added both rifles.

Out testing the new bedding job and it seemed to be shooting well, so thought I'd give her a try. Barely squeezed in with the last group. The action and chamber were getting rather goopy, will see if it can push out more comfortable performances after a light clean.
Temp was just above 0, no noticeable breeze.
Using Eley match.
The rifle is the Lithgow Arms LA 101, the optic is a Cabelas 6-24x50 FFP. Harris bipod, ghetto rice filled bag for the rear.
Groups in order:
.362
.316
.434
.290
.490
AVG .378

For those interested in the rifle
Pros: accurate enough, 2 action screws, stock ergonomics, proper bolt handle placement, crisp trigger, no one at the range knows what it is.
Cons: if you get the wooden stock version you need to bed it and open up the barrel channel likely, feeding the flat nose match round with a full mag will jam, the trigger is near impossible to work on and comes a 3lbs ish, costs the same as an entry level annie, and the non laminated wood is rather soft.
